large scale cotton print fabric of birds and branches. The surface of the chairs is attractively distressed original paint with some gesso and natural wood showing through. Good sturdy condition, with surface wear as noted. Comfortable, with down cushions and original horsehair stuffing. Ca. 1940’s, possibly a bit earlier.
