A good Rose Medallion Chinese Export vase adapted into a lamp with a good quality carved wood base and high quality brass fittings, including a nice decorative finial. Small gilded salamanders are molded into the upper portion of the vase along with a pair of little foo lion “handles.” Porcelain dates ca. 1870’s with 20th century lamp fittings. The celadon linen shade is new and very chic. Very good condition.
