A very finely cast pair of two light French Neoclassical bronze sconces. Lovely French Louis XVI details abound: precisely detailed dropped finials and candle arms, fully dimensional husk swags, acanthus embellishments and flame filled urns are all very well executed. Chiseled texture enhances their surfaces, giving more richness and dimensionality to each element. Ca. early 20th century, with recent wiring and fitted with slim brass back plates for hanging. Recent natural beeswax coated candle covers.
