A charming set of gilt edged plates with grisaille botanical decoration designed by A. H. Williamson (1907-1994). This set is very unusual for its bright yellow ground. Plates are labeled with the name of the illustrated flower on the backs- 14 different flower species are represented. Second half of the 20th century.
