A finely modeled ca. 1890’s large putto figure sculpted in the elegant manner of Auguste Moreau (1834-1917). The figure is fully finished in three dimensions, seated on top of a quiver of arrows and a bow, having just affixed a letter around the neck of a bird that is about to take off. The plinth is patinated to resemble terra cotta. A few firing flaws to the porcelain.
