A large and handsome early 20th century transferware charger with gilt detail throughout the traditional scenic elements of mountains running into estuary, a tea house amid twisted pine trees and a border with Japonesque detailing of stylized florettes against red oxide glaze and blue reserves with gilding and touches of green. Two marks, one glazed and gilded, the other impressed on the back.
