An absolutely beautiful Defltware faience covered jar with fine decoration, including three large Rococo cartouches with figural and landscape vignettes painted inside each. Lovely color, in a softer cornflower blue than is often found in Delft. Unidentified mark (“F” ?) on the bottom. Substantial size and very good antique condition with a few typical glaze flakes showing earthenware beneath. Probably late 19th/Early 20th century.
