A very handsome slim Georgian side cabinet perfect for a library or as an alternative to a sideboard in a dining room. The surface is French polished and both drawer and cabinet fronts are cross banded in tulipwood and strung with detailed multi-layered plain or herringbone stringing, the corners each ornamented with finely executed and colored quarter paterae. Late 18th century. Very good antique condition with excellent finish, some signs of age, light wear and use.
