A good set of six knives from the Sheffield, England firm John Wigfall and Co., these have bright steel blades and lovely quality mother of pearl handles. The ferrules are embossed with rosettes and rope twist motifs. These date pre- 1905, when the firm ceased to operate under its founder’s name. Good antique condition, with typical minor wear to the blades.
