English Silver Plate Biscuit Box with Bamboo Engraving
$395.00
stylized bamboo motifs on all sides. The engraving is deep and expertly done with artisanal flair. There are no marks at all, which may indicate a date of ca.1840 or earlier, when it was common for plated pieces to be unmarked. Very good antique condition: the piece is beautifully polished and lacquered, so it will not need polishing.
