Each consisting of a gilt column form plinth with the classical Greek goddess Psyche perched on top of a globe. The butterfly winged goddess holds the candelabra which spring from an arched garland. The surfaces are intricately and precisely patterned, cast and rendered in repoussé in the French Restauration manner of Charles X. Gilt brass with black patinated figures. Perfect for a mantel top or console table. Very good condition, bright gilt finish with attractive light patina to the gilt brass. Ca. 1900.
