A very decorative handled English biscuit box, marked JD &S for James Deakin & Sons, and with the crown mark for Sheffield, with fancy engraving and a three dimensional floral knop to the top. Each side has a blank medallion surrounded by light catching engraved designs. Ca. Last decade of the 19th century. Good antique condition, with some wear to the silver, some dings and irregularities.
