A good original ca. 1695 map of Ireland, titled “The Kingdom of Ireland” with handcoloring. Robert Morden (ca. 1650-1703) was a prolific publisher of European maps based in London. On laid paper with a horizontal center fold, plate mark visible all the way around, with minimal toning. Nicely matted, frame with a gold strié finish. The back shows provenance from Harrod’s, London.
