A handsome assembled set of six dining chairs, probably Italian, comprised of four matching chairs along with a matched pair of slightly larger proportions, all finely made, with turned legs and stretchers, and upholstered alike in an attractive high quality vintage silk or silk/cotton blend strié velvet of light and shimmery burnt umber brown. Late 17th century/early 18th century. All in good usable condition, waxed and restored. All with worming and related restorations. Fabric with some fading, some minor spots and variation in sheen, still very presentable.
