A chic pair of Swedish side chairs in dark walnut with natural suede leather upholstery and brass tacks. A very striking design featuring deep seat rails carved with fluting and punctuated by large rectangular medallions. The backs have the same fluted carving and an interesting open carved baluster form back splat, terminating in a boldly carved crest. Ca. Late 18th century. Good antique condition, with typical signs of age, lovely patina.
