American New England Sheraton Serving Table, 19th Century

American New England Sheraton Serving Table, 19th Century
$1,400.00
A three drawer American New England server of walnut and flame birch, probably from the Boston area. This versatile table would have been used like small sideboard when it was made, ca. 1820-30, but could suit a number of functions today. The four legs are turned and reeded and rest on casters, allowing for easy movement. The flame birch drawers enhance the front with lively and handsome timber figure. Good antique condition with some signs of age and use, a couple of dark marks and small subtle restorations. Lion head ring hardware is later. Good French polished finish.
