A stylish walnut center table with a marble top, finished on all four sides with inlay and slight shaping to the apron, the whole resting on tapered and fluted legs. Three sides have particularly nice marquetry at the stiles, simulating trompe l’oeil fluting and guttae. The front is fitted with a single deep drawer. Marble is probably original. Late 18th century.
