A very detailed toothy green glazed foo dog with bushy eyebrows and a spiky tail, resting on a ochre glazed plinth. The wonderful face is articulated with a tongue visible inside the grinning teeth. Early 20th century, with impressed country of origin mark on the bottom (these marks were required of imports from 1891 on). Some small chips/losses, mainly at the bottom edge/corners.
