A brightly gilded New England Neoclassical mirror with good applied composition decoration of leaves and rosettes in the frieze and frame base. The sides of the frame are set off by twinned colonnettes. Original glass, with age speckling. Early 19th century. Retains original gilding with craquelure and some losses, small touch ups, overall attractive surface distress.
