A large vase in the airy bird and butterfly pattern, punctuated by the occasional painted and gilded beetle amid flowers and fruit, mounted on a gilded Chinese carved wooden base. Fourth quarter of the 19th century. Silk drum shade. Good antique condition, irregularities to the porcelain and glazes, largely as made, light wear, patina.
