A set of four finely framed engravings of original drawings by the 17th century French artist Claude Lorrain, from the collection of the Duke of Devonshire. Depicted are bucolic scenes of country life rendered in painterly sepia wash coloring on wove paper. The four include plates: 107, 115, 116 and 118. The release of these engravings etched by Robert Earldom and published by John Boydell, was in 1775.
