A fine pair of hand colored aquatint engravings depicting famous 18th century English racehorses, along with the details of their breeding, their race records and noble affiliated families. These engravings are part of a series painted by Thomas Spencer (1700-1763) and engraved in the 1750’s by Richard Houston. Both engravings are in exceptional condition.
