An elegant oval silver biscuit box encircled by ivy garlands and strapwork designs. The lid has a bone and silver finial. Outswept foliate feet support the vessel. Marked on the bottom, Benetfink & Co., a London seller of household furnishings and accessories from 1845 to 1907. Lovely silver surface in very good condition. Very light wear. Ca. 1900.
