Wired with switched silk wrapped cords so that they are ready to plug in and use. These sconces can also be hardwired if desired. Probably Italian, each is embossed with Baroque sunflower like blossoms. The original candle cups have been adapted and wired for small base single light bulbs. The backs show the artisanal quality, with wrought iron armatures supporting the brass repoussé cladding. Ca. 18th/ 19th century, newly rewired.
