A fine pair of heavily textured and brightly colored English majolica plates, each unique in coloring, with gradations of emerald to celery, pink and natural umber throughout the wonderful nubby surface. Good antique condition, with light wear, craquelure and other irregularities, as made. Late 19th century. Provenance: private collection, prior to that Dearing Antiques, Atlanta, retaining old labels.
