A handsome pair of cast pewter Baroque prickets, retaining traces of silvering, and bearing an abundance of ornament: caryatids, winged putti and fruit garlands on the tripodal base. Second half of the 18th century, very similar to a marked pair made in the 1780’s by Johann Bartholmaeus Blumenstock of Augsburg.
