Five serpentine edge Nanking Pattern Chinese Export plates, finely decorated and with the desirable shaped rims rather than more common plain rims. Each is meticulously hand painted with the very detailed traditional coastal scenes of picturesque Teahouses with a bridge and figures in the foreground. All retain old dealer’s tags form Jane Marsden Antiques in Atlanta. All in generally good antique condition: all have some roughness to the edges, varying from tiny flea bites to some shallow losses at the edges, but no larger/eye catching chipping. Early 19th century.
