A diminutive and versatile English mahogany chest of drawers, ca. 1800 / early 19th century, of a size that would be ideal for a bedside piece, or a case piece in any small space. Four graduated drawers with cock beaded edges function well. Handsome bold brass hardware is antique and probably a fancier replacement for plainer original hardware soon after the piece was made. Oak and pine drawer linings. Good antique condition with signs of age and use: small dings, wear to edges and small restorations.
