A petite and versatile flip top card table that converts to a larger nearly square game table when opened, the top is light walnut marquetry laid out in a herringbone pattern within wide banded borders. The top swivels to open, revealing storage space inside. The interesting distressed peacock blue/black painted table base is finished on all four sides and is handsomely carved with wreaths and rosettes. Good vintage condition, some intentional distressing, dents and dings, nicely polished top. Second half 20th century, stamped underneath “Made in Italy.”
