Petite yet sturdy, constructed of walnut with elaborate fruitwood marquetry inlay throughout, this charming bench rests on six legs of cabriole and baluster forms. The fine marquetry is detailed with penwork, giving each element volume and interest. First half 20th century. Good antique condition, French polished, seat with a spline repair and some cracking, all stable.
