Pair of Chinese Export Porcelain Plates Decorated in Salmon and Gold, Late 18th Century
$0.00
A very fine pair of Neoclassical Period Chinese export plates, exquisitely painted in bands of salmon pink with sepia and delicate gilded details such as clever Vitruvian scroll that becomes a guilloche as it combines with its gilt counterpart. Each plate has a peony floral spray at the center. Excellent antique condition, with some firing irregularities, as made. Very light wear. Both bear handpainted collection number marks, otherwise, no marks.
