An interestingly shaped scooped oval footed fruit bowl which comes to a point at each end, of very fine design and craftsmanship, generously decorated with gilding, and with elements glazed in green and lilac and peach enlivening the traditional Imari palette of iron red, blue and gold. Probably Flight Barr and Barr or Coalport, ca. 1810.
