features chinoiserie designs with pagodas and Asian inspired trees and gardens. The smaller jar features traditional Dutch floral and garden motifs, which are also Asian inspired. The color palettes of each are the same, but with different emphasis: green, red oxide and yellow feature prominently in addition to the cobalt blue. 20th century, very good condition, craquelure to the lid of the larger one and normal artisanal irregularities. Unidentified marks, both incised and underglazes, on the underside of each.
