A fine Chinese porcelain platter of bright and somewhat rare coloring, defined by the amethyst purple scale pattern encircling the broad shaped rim of the dish. The large scale floral bouquet in the center is echoed in the four reserves within the rim. Ca. 1770’s. Consistent glaze flakes around the outside edge, otherwise very good condition. No knife marks.
