A charming pair of early 20th century twin size beds, each carved and finished on all sides, so that they could sit out in a room. One end is double caned and the other end is upholstered on both sides in a multicolor linen textured toile fabric featuring trees and a pagoda. Carving of decorative Rococo Louis XV style motifs such as shells, scrolls and rocaille accents the frames throughout. Sized for standard twin mattresses- use of a flat slatted bottom might be preferable to a box spring due to the petite size of these beds; they are built to accommodate standard mattresses. Very good condition, light wear, slight rubs to paint. Newly upholstered.
