A fine ca. 1800-1820 Welsh Dresser of substantial form, composed of an enclosed oak cabinet below, surmounted by a shelved superstructure on top. Drawers and cabinet doors are handsomely finished with cockbeading around each and kite form escutcheons are an attractive contrast in ivory. Three drawers in the center are false fronts for open cabinet space behind. Retains many of its original cup hooks.
