A charming handmade bandbox in the antique style of the 18th and 19th century, made using hand blocked wallpaper with a bright light chartreuse green ground and ochre, green and cream scenes and decorative borders. The interior is papered in vintage black and white antiques advertisements. Maker’s label attached inside the lid, indicates the maker’s name and Ohio as the place of origin. The advertisements used in the interior date from the late second half of the 20th century. Light wear, a few scuffs and light distress to the paper, a 1” repaired tear to the lid, not very noticeable.
