A very handsome pair of 19th century ginger jars, later fitted with exceptional quality custom wooden plinths, which are turned and carved into bold bracket forms. Each jar has unique Kangxi style designs: scenes of court ladies enjoying a garden, punctuated by boulders, trees and ornamental fencing. New silk pleated shades. Good antique condition, with light wear to the bases, artisanal irregularities, as made.
