A nice early example of an oil lamp that has been adapted for electricity, with a boldly delineated silhouette with the four spouts that once held wicks, broad drip pans below and a turned stem. Probably early 19th century. Antique condition with some speckling to the brass, irregularities, separations at the moulded rim of the base. New natural linen shade. Nice "silk wrapped” cord, double brass pull chains.
