An unusual pair of sizable Rose Medallion jugs, much larger than cream pitchers, with fine details and of unusually high quality. These would be stunning used for flower arrangements or for display. Colors are very strong and clear, gilding is bright and in very good condition, details are finely executed. Porcelain bodies are in excellent condition and feature dimensional modeling at the scalloped rims of the faceted sides. Ca. 1860. Normal artisanal irregularities, as made.
