A large English faience charger decorated in the Chinese export manner in blue on a blue tinged celadon ground, with a traditional fenced garden vignette encircled by a serpentine border of cross hatching mimicking a Chinese diaper pattern. Late 18th century. Good condition, crazing to the glaze and fairly even wear to the rim, no chips, typical irregularities to the body and glazes, as made.
