Modeled closely on Chinese Export porcelain designs of the early 18th century, this lovely and colorful Delft plate features a stylized garden with Rococo rockery and floral elements in an unusually fresh and spriggy composition. Distinctive coloring elevates the design with just a hint of cobalt blue, generous manganese purple, ochre and green taking the place of the more typical all blue palette. Ca. mid 18th century. Typical antique condition with shallow flaking and wear to the rim revealing pale earthenware beneath. *Stand not included
