A charming trio of miniature portraits of well known aristocratic ladies of the 18th century: Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire (1757-1806), Emma Hamilton (1765-1815), and Mme. Louise de France (1737-1787) a daughter of Louis XV. All finely executed, the Duchess of Devonshire in particular. The frames are bone with contrasting inlay and engraved decoration. With domed glass covers over the paintings. All in good antique condition, with some signs of age and irregularities, small tidy restorations to the octagonal frame.
