A finely framed still life painting featuring a large, life-size, bouquet of dahlias: pink, coral and cream flowers in a blue vessel. Somewhat impressionistic in style, the table cloth is rendered in convincing perspective, drawing the viewer in. First half to mid- 20th century. Signed J. William- Piondel. The closed corner moulded gilt wood frame is very good quality. Very good condition overall. Very minimal wear to the frame.
