The setting one image is in the courtyard of the Place des Vosges, then called the Place Royale. The book was published posthumously with engravings by Dutch artist Crispijn de Passe the Younger 1597 - 1670). Interesting double plate impression, both plate marks are visible. Very good antique condition, with some toning, to the paper.
