A diminutive and versatile English mahogany chest of drawers, ca. 1780-1800 of a size that would be ideal for a bedside piece, or a case piece in any small space. Four graduated drawers with cock beaded edges function well. Brass ram’s head and ring hardware is period and probably a fancier period replacement for plainer original hardware soon after the piece was made. Oak drawer linings. Good antique condition with signs of age and use reflected in an appealing patina.
