Terms of Shipping and Shipping Quotes 

 

Large Items/Furniture

Warehouse Pickup or Free Delivery are Available in the Charlottesville, VA area.

The buyer generally pays the shipper directly for shipping charges of large items outside the Charlottesville Area. 

PROCESS

  1. Mirabelle Antiques will, upon request, assist in matching a purchase or a desired purchase with a suitable shipper. Mirabelle Antiques will then provide a shipping quote from a third party shipper to the buyer for approval. 

  2. Your transaction with any 3rd party shipper is entirely between you and the shipper. Even in cases where Mirabelle Antiques needs to pay a shipper directly and then collect reimbursement from a buyer for shipping costs, (such as booking shipment through Uship.com or prepaying UPS), Mirabelle Antiques is not responsible for fees, handling, timeline, insurance, damage claims, loss or any other part of the transaction with the shipper you have approved. Once your items are removed from our gallery by a shipper or deposited with UPS, your transaction with us is complete.

  3. Once a quote is accepted by the buyer, Mirabelle Antiques will set up delivery to the buyer, and will provide contact information for the shipper, so that final arrangements, scheduling, changes to scheduling and payment can be made directly with the shipper.

NOTES

  • All shipments will carry full insurance covering loss or damage to the item, unless specifically noted and accepted by the buyer.

  • In the case of loss or damage to the item, an insurance claim is to be made by the buyer with the shipper, not with Mirabelle Antiques.

  • The item total at checkout for a large item will NOT include shipping unless a shipping quote has been provided to and accepted by the buyer.

Small Items

Warehouse Pickup or Free Delivery are Available in the Charlottesville, VA area.

Small items can be packed and shipped UPS. In some cases, the buyer can pay UPS directly, but the charge may need to go through Mirabelle Antiques as some UPS stores will not take third party payments.

PROCESS

  1. Mirabelle Antiques will provide a shipping quote to the buyer for approval. 

  2. Once a quote is accepted by the buyer, Mirabelle Antiques will:
    a) provide a shipping charge for the customer to add to the shopping cart and checkout or, recalculate item total to include shipping.
    b) provide contact information for the shipper (UPS), so that final arrangements and payment can be made directly by the customer. 

  3. Your transaction with any 3rd party shipper is entirely between you and the shipper. Even in cases where Mirabelle Antiques needs to pay a shipper directly and then collect reimbursement from a buyer for shipping costs, (such as prepaying UPS), Mirabelle Antiques is not responsible for fees, handling, timeline, insurance, damage claims or any other part of the transaction with the shipper you have approved. Return Policy

Returns of purchases made directly from Mirabelle Antiques are accepted within 3 days of delivery, if the buyer contacts Mirabelle Antiques within those three days to indicate the intention to return subject to the conditions below:

  • Purchaser is responsible for all arrangements, costs and payments for the return shipping.

  • Product must be received in its original, unused condition upon return.

  • Buyer pays for actual shipping, handling and full insurance coverage for return shipping.
