George III Satinwood and Marquetry Tea Caddy

0.00

A very fine late 18th century English two compartment tea caddy retaining its original cut glass waste bowl. The exterior is inlaid with floral designs inside oval reserves, with the edges of each side elaborately cross banded and strung with 11 layers of tulipwood, ebony, satinwood and delicate barber pole stringing. Remarkably good condition.
